The water purification takes place off site where normal tap water is run though a 5 stage filtration process to bring the water total dissolved solid (tds)count down from around 350 parts per million (ppm) to 000 ppm (pure water).

The first stage of filtration is a sediment filter which removes larger impurities anything down to 5 microns

stage 2 & 3 are carbon filters to remove chlorine

stage 4 is reverse osmosis this removes 98% of tds (in our case down to 002-003ppm)

stage 5 is deionization (DI) filter this polishes the water down to 000ppm (pure water)

after filtration the pure water is fed into a holding tank ready to be transfered to another tank mounted in the van ready for work.
